Formed as a Dublin post-punk band in 1976, U2 grew to become one of the biggest and best stadium-rock bands of all time. Led by iconic frontman Bono and guitarist The Edge, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers have racked up eight No. 1 albums, including their 1987 landmark The Joshua Tree.
